Why is teamwork within the organization important to supervision today?

Organizations today have changed a lot and the reason is change of business strategy and way, therefore organizations need to cope up with whatever changes that the industry exhibits and for that they need to be flexible and effective in their approach. Team work is an important aspect in organizations today and it is also considered to be the functional and structural unit of business because without team work achieving a goal is difficult and therefore that should be given importance. The manager needs to monitor teamwork but it is better not to intrude in the team chemistry instead they can assess the performance of the team and then communicate the expectations they have from the team and anything that may help the team in future. The organizational goals today are based primarily on team work so if teamwork fails or a team fails then there is now ay that the organization can succeed so it is almost mandatory to supervise the team so that they are on track.
