Cognitive behavior: Cognitive behaviour is mental process such as thinking , Attention, Perception, Language, memory etc .

  • Perception : is a process of acquiring knowledge about the world around us using the sense organs is known as Perception .
  • Thinking : It is a mental process which is an arrangements of ideas which happens in brain and lead to information processing whichin tun results in problem solving and decision making .
  • Attention : Attention is a cognitive process of concentrating of aspects of information in order to gain knowldege is known as Attention .
  • Language :Language is systemactic way of communicating with others . It uses gestures, Body language ,symbols etc to communicate with others .
  • Memory : Is a mental process which involves storage and retrival of information from the brain is known as Memory .

Behaviourist

Behaviorism refers to a psychological approach which is based scientific and objective methods of investigation. The approach only concentrates on observring behaviour which is stimulus-response behaviors, and concludes that all behaviors are learned through interaction with the external world .

Eg : An Experiment conducted by Albert Bandura .

He conducted a experiment on bobo doll , Through which he understood that all the behaviour are observed and learned .

Humanist :

Humanistic behaviour is a study of a person as a whole . humanistic approach is called phenomenological

It is viewed not by the perspective of the observer but the the perpective of the person performing the behaviour .

Maslow theory of heirachy is the perfect example for humanist behaviour .

  • physiological needs : water, food, shelter and sex
  • safety needs : security, income , job ,assets
  • love and belonging : Friendship, Family, Intimacy
  • Self Esteem : respect , status, freedom amnd recognition
  • Self -Actualization : Eternal peace .
