Who and Where?
He came, he ran, he conquered and he continued to do so. That is how one can express about Mr. PC. The CFO of a listed company, an organization producing a large variety of plastics products, having a wide range of products from industrial to domestic usage, from high grade to other grades plastics and from kids toys to adults requirements satisfaction products. The organization started before him and has not looked back, but his contribution to the growth of the organization is formidable.
All the good qualities of the Five Factor model being talked of a lot these days can be said to be present in him. Whether it be openness, agreeableness or conscientiousness and extraversion. The persona seems to be brimming with all those. The wide variety of experience and positive emotions along with that, lets people grow, and help him achieve a good place in everybody's heart. As conscientious to listen to even a newcomer and as compassionate to anyone going through a difficult situation are like behaviors imbibed in his social interaction and personality traits.
Well, when he was surrounded by so much negativity w.r.t. implementation of the new software, he showed a real calm and his conduct was such as was appreciated and admired by the consultant's team itself. It was the approach of stride which was always towards positive, and this made people around him feel comfortable and relaxed. The way he dealt with issues where compliances were not being met by the software and thinking of asking the tech company which was supplying the software to come up with the solution to the situation was in itself a very guided thinking and also assured of the patience he had for finding an appropriate solution, rather than mere way-outs that were being suggested by most of the people.
The consideration of, people from all walks of life from within the organization, into software implementation project can be said to be a good learning experience for all. And that made him only known more of the ground realities at all levels within the organization.
This may whether or not help him in future but can surely be a benchmark case that all the position holders must know, so that good managers can share with and employee can benefit from such implementaion and installation
