Task: Making a power point presentation

Detailed Steps:

1) Open the MS Power point

Firstly we have to open the Microsoft Power point by clicking on the icon MS power point on your system (desktop/laptop/tab etc). If MS Power point is not installed in the system then you have to install it first and then open it.

2) Create New file

After opening MS Power point, the next step is to create new file by clicking on the icon of 'new'. This will give you a blank file in which you can make the PowerPoint presentation. Before doing the next steps you should have certain contents ready to feed in.

3) Type in the title and contents

After opening the new file, you will see a slide which is the title slide. You have to give a title of your presentation (document) on that slide by typing in properly. Then you may proceed with adding new content slides by clicking on the add button or pressing the keys 'control+M' on the keyboard. Once the entire contents with headings are fed into the various slides, you may give a conclusion or thanks at the final slide. If you have to insert certain images or other pictures, then you may use the tool bar at the top of the PowerPoint file screen.

4) Set the preferences

Once the contents are fed into the slides, the next thing is to give some additional features to your presentation. It may be by giving various effects/ pattern of your slides. You can also give some transition pattern to move from one slide to another. All these can be explored by checking the tool bar and applied to the slides.

5) Save the file.

Final step is to save the file with name of the document on your desktop or may be in any other preferred drives or folders by clicking on the save button or by using the 'control+S' buttons on the keyboard. Once this is done your powerpoint presentation is ready for use. This can be opened by clicking on the saved file at any point of time.
