Role of automatic process in activation of streotype:

There are mainly two ways of processing information Automatic process and controlling process.in automatic process , it is not delibrate . People doesn't need pay attention or not required any understanding of fact.if we practice something to enough then it becomes automatic.some example is riding motor byake, sininging song, walking , playing the pianoo , walking , swimming etc.we can easy do these task without any thoughts . Similarly we can propogate and inculcate such kinds streotype and prejudice thougt without proper verifications through empirically, secientifically or logically. We are believe in child marriage or not again married of widow women only on the basis of our ancestors blind beliefs .we never feels to think about . So it is automatic process which comes from long practice and doesn't need to rationally think.so automatic process play crucual role activation of streotype.

controlled process in disregarding of streotype:

Controlling process required us paying attention and delibrately put on effort to understand the fact .we are conciously aware what is going on and we have to actually think what is going on and making decisions.for example , when we learned how to ride bike then we have to understand the proper funtion how does it work and the role of each part of bike to smoothly riding it. Therfore , we are become more genuine and capable to deal with problem . Because we have to understand the root causes of problem rather make beliefs on blind faith automatically.Besides answering the questions of interview is another example of controlling process where people required to think for answering the questions. Similarly controlling processing helps to breakdown all dogmatism outlook through enlightened of secientific and rational thinking .

Behaviour:

people whose information processing is automatic then his behaiour will be streotype and does not show any stablity and desirable behaiour. But if people information processing are come under controlling then his behaviour will be more sophisticated, rational and show desirable behaviour.
