What were the findings in the Zajonc’s experiment measuring both private and public attitudes in a sexual harassment suit? What was encouraging about the study results?

Solutions

Expert Solution

As per the drive theory of Zajonc of social facilitation (1965), the mere presence of others increases aroual and thereby frequency of dominant responses. Here he conducted one expirement in which there were 12 students 6 above average and 6 below average and there some passive observants, it was noticed that students who do above average average improved in their performance while students who were below average started declining in their performance.

Implicit processes are suggested though not directly expressed, hence the strong implicit relationship may have stronger relationships, the couple respect partner's wish without thr relationship getting disturbed. Wealth and happiness are not directly connected with each oter, though yes as per maslow's hierarchy person should have minium amount of money. Happiness is more connected with thought, behaviour, social connections rather than wealth.

Zajnoc didn't conduct any experiment on sexual harassment.
