The main objective to redefine kilogram is to assign one particular value which is same across the world.

Because as now, Scientists are saying that kilogram is losing weight as it is based on a physical art craft alloy stored in laboratory which could be damaged anytime by any means like loss of impurities or collection of contaminants on it .

So it is must to change the value of kilogram which would now be based on standards of universal constant that don’t change regardless of place, position and time as they have a fixed numerical value which doest involve any direct physical measurement and thus remains same everywhere.
