Arrange the topic below into evidence-based practice question clinical questions and research questions:
“Among nurses administering medications, does implementing a policy using interventions to reduce interruptions versus not implementing a policy using intervention to reduce interruptions decrease medication administration errors?”
EBP question :in a evidence-based practice (EBP) process is to identify the clinical problem or question for which you are seeking evidence. Asking a focused and relevant question about the patient's condition will inform your search.
Clinical question :clinical question needs to be directly relevant to the patient or problem at hand and phrased in such a way as to facilitate the search for an answer. PICO makes this process easier. It is a mnemonic for the important parts of a well-built clinical question.
Research question:research question states the specific issue or problem that nurses assignment will focus on. A good research question should be: Clear, focused, testable, attainable, realistic and timely.
Arranging the given question as different types of question :
1.EBP question : does implimenting a policy using intervention to reduce interruptions or not implementing a policy using interventions to reduce interruptions decrease medication errors?
2.Clinical question : is implementing a policy using interventions or not using interventions reduce medicational errors in nurses?
3.Research question : to reduce medication errors in nurses administering medicines what should be done?
