1. Project teams
2. Self managed teams

A project team is a team whose members usually belong to different groups, have different functions and are assigned by the project manager to activities for the same project. Usually project teams are only used for a defined period of time.
A self-managed team is a group of employees that's responsible and accountable for all or most aspects of producing a product or delivering a service.
A virtual team usually refers to a group of individuals who work together from different geographic locations and rely on communication technology such as email, FAX, and video or voice conferencing services in order to collaborate.
Operational teams are often seen as the 'face' of the organisation by people who use their services. They might work directly with people, provide services or produce goods. They perform the primary task of the organisation, implementing its policies and displaying its standards.
