Name 10 changes that an elderly person must endure (may be physical, mental, social, etc).
Give a brief explanation of each.

Physical - The primary characteristic of aging is physical decay
which brings in a kind of desperation and inability in the minds of
the elders which affect all the other things in their life such as
their emotional and social lives.
1. Loss of eyesight - Losing or decreasing vision causes great
trouble for the elders. They, most of the time need someone else's
help in finding things and moving around.
2. Loss of teeth - This is another trouble they would face as they
won't be able to eat as they used to. They will be able to take
only liquid food and not solid food.
3. Joint pain - Most of the joints would have become old causing
pain and they won't be able to get out of their homes mostly.
4. Hearing impairment - The hearing will start declining thus
making it difficult to receive any kind of information that they
would hear otherwise. Other people will not be patient enough to
repeat things or speaking out loudly.
Mental - This is the time they would indergo psychological
troubles.
1. Fading Memory - The brain will start losing it's capacity to
remember things. Forgetting will haunt them.
2. Loneliness - The death of the partner and children's abandonment
will cause loneliness. This in turn will cause stress.
3. Dilusion - Aged people will also undergo dilusion that they will
have difficulty in accepting reality and fear of death and
rejection will dominate them.
Social - There will be social problems that would alienate and
pressurise them.
1. Incompatibility of belief system - Elders will live with their
belief system that won't be compatible with the belief system and
practice of the present generation that would alienate and deter
them from socializing.
2. Inability to contribute - Elder people will face a conflict of
not contributing to the society with their knowledge and
skills.
3. Financial dependability - They won't be able to earn any money
and they have to depend on someone such as children or care taker
for everything and this dependability will depress them.
