Cancer is a type of diseases which involves Abnormal cell growth and multiplication and able to invade the surrounding tissues .

Common risk factors are tobacco, alcohol, obesity

Infections - hepatitis virus , human papilloma virus , helicobacter pylori , Epstein Barr virus

Most common cancer in males are lung cancer , prostate cancer , colorectal, stomach

Most common csner in females are breast , colorectal,lung , cervical cancer

In children acute lymphoblastic luekemia , brain tumors are common

Educationa about cancer in Health belief model

Measures in this concentrate on modification, elimination of risk factors such as tobacco , alcohol ,and unhealthy lifestyle

Women should be educated about cervical cancer such as bleeding after menopause, bleeding in between menstrual period ,they should be taught about genital hygiene

Parents, teachers should be rolemodel for students for tobacco free society

High risk individuals should be educated regarding risk factors associated with cancer development

Practice good personal and perineal hygiene
