3. Good range for convenience retail outlets meeting the basic shoping needs.
4. Well established Business Association.
Weaknesses: The shopping center also supports a no. Weaknesses like the Lack of Ambience in the complex.
1. Limited takeaway food outlets.
2. Limited landscaping.
3. Limited space for people to congregate.
4. Lots of funds to manage the same atmosphere of the shopping center.
Opportunities: The opportunities that are available for the shopping center because of the strengths are:
1. The increase in profits because of the advertisements and promotion.
2. Expansion of the mall through the redevelopment.
3. More customer lead generation as now more and more retail outlets are being opening in the center.
Threats: The threats that are available because of the weaknesses in the shopping center are:
1. The shopping center could face the threat for falling short of funds to maintain the atmosphere level.
2. The shopping center could also face the threat of getting and building the space to ensure and accomodate large amount of people in itself. This has to be taken effectively to make sure customers are being managed effectively.
Yes, I believe that the shopping center administratives consider the same elements when developing the right competitive strategy to target and market the same name to the consumers. If the shopping center is effectively able to manage the costs, the prices offered by the same would be lesser than that of the other centers making it achieve the cost leadership strategy to position itself. The more high class and better atmosphere, the differentiation strategy would be used to position the brand name.
