Research and discuss some of the most recent efforts of Facebook and other popular social media companies to reduce the number of bad actors who use their technology. Will these efforts be effective, or will bad actors always find a way to get by whatever Facebook and other platforms like it put in the way to stop them? Make suggestions as to how the efforts to stop bad social media behavior can be improved. Touch on the use of Fake News and the creation of accounts that don’t actually belong to a person.

Social media platform like facebook and twitter are proving themselves a strong platform to discuss on global issue. They have condensed the world in a single entity. But as every coin has two sides, these social media platform also creating many challenges for the peoples as well as their managing authority. Social media giants like facebook, twitter are continuously taking action against such persons or organization who are misutilizing this platform. Some of these recent actions by these platforms are listed below:

1) Days ago Facebook removed many fake accounts and pages in Iraq for misrepresentation.
2) Twitter has suspended about 4000 fake accounts from UAE. These accounts were mostly tweeting about Qatar and Yemen.
3) Instant messaging App Whtsapp brings the feature of designating a message as forwarded to check fake news.
4) Twitter suspends many accounts of a country for spreading false propaganda against a country.

These all efforts are effective only for very short period of time, as the persons or organizations who are
involved in such acts will certainly find some other way of doing so. As we are aware that the process
of identifyng such fake pages and accounts is very slow.By the time these social media authority suspends them
they starts their activity on other similar accounts and pages.

Although the bad social media behaviour cannot be completely stop, but by taking some genuine steps this can be
minimized:-
1) By establishing a strong authentication platform to identify the person.
2) By creating awareness among peoples , by telling them bad affects of such activities.
3) By taking the government support in a particular country.

4) By permanently blocking the persons or organization who caught involving in such acts.
