Paleo diet generally stands for paleolithic diet or the diet that was being consumed in the ancient times. It predominantly depends upon plant based diet but recent developments have shifted more focus to diets of animal origin. The whole point of the diet is to consume less amount of processed food along with dairy based products and grains, sugar and legumes. The diet must include more of fruits , vegetables,roots etc.
Raw food diet as the name suggests the diet mostly consists of raw and uncooked food. The diet mostly consists of fruits and vegetables and food that is not heated above 118 degree. People these days even go for raw and unpasteurized milk. As the food is mostly uncooked, the amount of nutrient loss occurring during the process is also diminished. Therefore, the body can avail more of nutrients and minerals from the food.
Detox diet are more of short term diet based manipulations which mostly aims at eliminating the toxins from the body. The diet mostly consists of fruits, Vegetables and juices and the duration of intervention is mostly for 3-7 days.
Generally athletes require a higher supply of protein irrespective of their diets. Mostly a diet embedded with fruits and vegetables is recommended as protein from plant source can improve endurance as well as help building muscle mass.
Irrespective of the diet athletes consume it is recommended for them to consume more of unprocessed food as it will be benefit them in long run.
