Radiation hazards are an important risk in health care settings as there is a increased chance for exposure to radiation for x ray personnel, in order to assess it's health hazards they can undergo a simple routine blood test for checking blood counts as well as thyroid function test, this gives an idea of whether there is any bone marrow suppression or thyroid dysfunction, so then the patient needed to be given a break from the workplace and treated promptly.

These people also needed to be checked periodically for how much radiation they are exposed by providing the health workers with radiation badge .
