Describe a safety hazard you've encountered in the workplace? How was the hazard corrected? Did anyone get injured? Were you involved in correcting the hazard? What was the final outcome? If it was not corrected, what do you think should have been done?

DESCRIBING A HAZARD:

When am working in a ranjith's construction company one fine day a short circuit had taken place. This is due to a high voltage of power in circuits . And this short circuit rises from a small sparks to a large fire.

The important equipment and construction materials are placed around that short circuit place.

No one in the company had observed it until it becames a huge fire. After noticed the fire we just got alerted and removed all equipment around the fire and used to stop the fire with snow and water . And still we are tried very well to counteract it but the result is not upto the level. So we had decided to call fire engine and they helped us to stop the fire.

Some of our colleagues are injured even me too. A small injure to my hand .

Yes I had a part in correcting the hazard. In a way that I used to call fire department, switching off power like this .

The final outcome is our company is got loss and some works are postponed to further.

I'd the hazard was not corrected then it may leads to big loss to company and all the materials and equipment may turns into Ash. All circuits may got burns due to high voltage.
