Technical issues: A topometrist may not understand the medical terms by the doctor. For example: In gamma radiation the density of the scattered radioactive waves for positioning onto the patient through a probe and its adjustments matters for a radiotherapist while it may have very little value for a physician.
Solution: A pre requisite course/training for a topometrist in medical science is required and the viceversa for a doctor to understand the 3D morphology in the screen
Emotional issues: Phyicians may have high IQ but lack interpersonal skills.
Solution: They need training in interpersonal skills and EQ
Intrapersonal and interpersonal conflicts: Temper outbursts by physicians towards the nurses need to be controlled and they need to be trained in handling such situations with care. Example: Using tools like Nurse conflict scale (NCS) for scaling and rating the conflicts.
Addressing conflicts: Ground rules to be framed, Discipline structure to be evolved, standard protocol needs to be designed, Emotional intelligence courses need to be framed and training needs to be imparted.
Counselling sessions for doctors and other personnel need to be imparted. Collaborative and accomodative nature of training in workplace needs to be established
