Identifies abnormal electrical activity in muscles which may be caused to nerve or muscle damage
Helps to detect nerve and muscle disorders , spinal nerve root compressions , amyotrophic lateral sclerosis etc

Myelography :

Contrast dye is injected into spinal canal for imaging the spine clearly
