Bringing this theory to practice -- how would you understand the COVID-19 pandemic using two of the four major sociological perspectives?Please give me answer as soon as possible

• According to functionalist perspective,social institutions must work together to maintain the equilibrium of our society.Each social institution has a function to perform,and working together is important for the survival and maintenance of the society.
• This perspective focuses on providing a framework which involves community as a social system so that the Covid-19 victims can be minimized.Functionalism focuses on the positive side of the working of the community,bringing together all the institutions to develop measures to control this virus and also eradicate it by developing a powerful vaccine.All the scientists,doctors,governments,engineers,technicians,education systems, etc. from around the world have come together to function as unit to fight this virus and create a new way of living,develop new innovative ways of doing business and conducting online education.
• The symbolic interactionist perspective focuses on communication through the use of language and symbols that people use to develop views about the world and establish meaning about various concepts.This perspective focuses on different cultures around the world have adapted themselves in response to the spread of this pandemic and the practices they have established to deal with it.
• The understanding of these practices varies from culture to culture.Each country around the world,took their own initiatives to control the spread of the virus,based on their understanding and the effects it would have on their people.
• For instance,In India,all businesses were shut down immediately since the population is huge and spread could be faster,rwhile Japanese government did not shut down their businesses for quite some time but rather put strict health regulations for everyone to be followed.
