Controllable risk factors (CRF)- These are the risk factors for a disease that can be changed/influenced by taking certain steps.
Uncontrollable risk factors (URF)- These risk factors cannot be subjected to change by taking any steps.
(a) Heritable Atherosclerosis
CRF - Unhealthy diet with high cholesterol is a risk factor that can be taken care of.
URF - Genetical component makes Mr. X more vulnerable to get the disease and cause early onset. It can not be changed with maintaining healthy diet or other precautions.
Exercise Plan- specifically, the exercises like aerobics that increase the blood circulation throughout the body are really effective in this case.
(b) Hypertension (high blood pressure)
CRF- Most important controllable risk factors include too much sodium in the diet, drinking excessive alcohol and having excess fat or obesity in the body.
URF- One of the biggest risk factor for high blood pressure is the familial history and increasing age. Elderly people find it really hard to control their weight as well.
Exercise plan- Best exercises for hypertension include brisk walking, jogging or hiking. These exercises are really helpful in maintaining our circulatory system in good health and hence, our blood pressure stays optimal.
(c) Lifestyle related Atherosclerosis
CRF - The risk factors that can be changed to control the disease include - Maintaing Cholestrol free diet and taking short breaks after every one hour interval of work and do stretching exercise.
URF - Due to a very high demanding job, there are long periods of inactivity. And this kind of sedentary lifestyle is really hard to avoid.
Exercise plan- regular aerobic exercise is really helpful to fight atherosclerosis. It includes stretching exercise to increase blood circulation, lowering the blood pressure and cholesterol, and most importantly controlling the weight of the body.
