  • Here the blood glucose levels are increased
  • Any disease or problems in the pancreas causes diabetes mellitus
  • The levels of insulin is decreased
  • There are two types namely Type 1 /Insulin Dependent and Type 2 /Non insulin dependent diabetes
  • Typical symptoms are polyuria ,polyphagia , polydipsia
  • The complications like retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy can occur
  • Here the blood glucose levels are normal but the fluid balance are affected
