Growth and development in early childhood :

Early childhood is the period of remarkable physical growth and mental development , and it ranges from birth to eight years. It is the stage in which the physical growth at rapid pace and in the age period between 2 to 6 years , the child used to gain 4 to 5 pounds and grow 3 inches in weight and height each year respectively. By three year , the children used to loss their baby  fat and get an appearance of child more than a baby. Untill the year of 4 to 5 , most of the children used to take a nap at day time . Primary dentition will finish by the age of 3 year with 20 teeth. By 6 year the child achieve all the motor skills such as running ,spinning , twisting and turning .

The development in early childhood comprise of emotional , linguistic and cognitive development. There will be tremendous development in language abilities, emotional and cognitive ability. At the preschool years the child will learn more words , than the previous years and they will understand , process and produce the language and words in an amazing way. It is time the chid have great skills in attention and rembering things . Early Childhood is the crucial stage of growth and development , that decide a child's future personality and behaviour , so  the parents and the care takers have to be more careful in providing a conducive , safe and comfortable environment for the child.
