Explain tow nutritional practice that should be avoided during pregnancy.
During pregnancy it is important to take many precautions and some of the practices that should be avoided are:
-Running
-Horse riding
-Sudden bending
-Uplifting heavy weight.
A pregnant women needs
to take sufficient amount of vitamin, nutrient rich food.
The food should include folic acid, calcium, magnesium, protein as
well as iron. Food intake such as spinach, lettuce provides iron as
well as fibres.
Breast milk contains fats in a large amount to support the growth of the infant. It also contains all the essential nutrients that is required for the development of infant. Breast milk contains oligosaccharides that protect the infant from microbes or bacteria to enter the intestinal wall of infants.
The solid foods are not recommended for an infant for few months because the infant does not have developed food tract as solid food can harm the throat or esophagus. It can cause ulcer and some of the allergies.
The several problems related to childhood obesity are:
Normal living life problems
Unable to play or run
IIncreased risk of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension
etc.
Children should indulge in playing games, eating healthy foods and
avoiding beverages can reduce weight
