Answer. Healthy ageing means growing old with optimised health care in which a person's brain and body are working at their best. The different ways in which good health can be promoted as:-

. Exercising regularly - encouraging older adults to make a fixed routine of light exercises including aerobic exercises, yoga, etc to increase the strength and flexibility of the body. It helps to keep the organs well functioning also.

. Quit smoking - older adults should be educated for quiting smoking because it causes chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases that can cause difficult symptoms for years. These symptoms increases with aging.

. Enough sleep - After whole day full of routine works it is mandatory for older people to get enough sleep for minimum of 6-8 hours. This sleep routine will make their brain efficient in working and the organs will also get enough time to repair during sleep.

. Avoid stress-- stress is one of the major issue with elderly people. It makes them keep thinking and give them tensions. So, it is must that they should get relieved from stress by getting positive lessons, improving sleep, exercising, meditation, relaxation strategies Stress affects the internal body symptoms majorly.

. Maintain healthy diet for healthy weight-- Keeping yourself strict in diet plans can help to reduce and maintain weight issues. These can help them in later ages to avoid many health problems.

. Nutrition - besides everything they need to keep regulating their nutritional aspects also to get all the benefits of all types of nutrition.

All these steps can lead towards the promotion of healthy ageing.
