The rise in Covid-19 has created an increased demand in the staffing of Zoom employees. With implications of social distancing rules and quarantining, many schools and even businesses have been using Zoom to communicate work online.

On Zoom's official page, CEO Eric Yuan communicates with the general public and zoom users including that of staff that Zoom is currently "closely monitoring the coronavirus public health emergency" globally. They have been in contact with their employees impacted and providing support "in every way [they] can". Thus, as Zoom is growing the need for employees has increased, Zoom is also seeking to hire more employees in response to the increase use of Zoom users. According to Business Insider, Zaveri communicates on how Zoom in response to Covid-19 has now " asking its employees at its headquarters in San Jose, CA to work from home due to concerns over the coronavirus disease". This shows how the head of Zoom is providing the safety for Zoom Staff while also wanting to hire more employees. In addition, "employees based at offices in China, Japan, London, Amsterdam and Paris are also working from home." Due to this opportunity of being able to work from home, many people could apply for positions in Zoom supplying the company with workers. Thus, increasing the efficiency and fast support Zoom can provide. Of course, to keep up with the demand caused by Covid-19, " the company is [even] hiring engineers, as well as salespeople". This in part in done to improve the quality of zoom such that of building infrastructures and adding more servers.
