I am software developer working for an IT company where we deal with the scrum meeting and planning etc.

I will say the advantages of planning the work through agile:

  1. Increases quality of the project.
  2. It is open to all workforce in an company, any one can help you in the progress of work.
  3. During the sprint you can receive enormous guide and feedback from the scrum masters and manager.
  4. Increases velocity of the work.
  5. It gives ownership to all the working people
  6. Increases responsibility to each people
  7. Prioritize the work for each candidate.

To increase productivity and eradicate risks:

  1. Time management is very important in planning the tasks.
  2. No postponing of any work
  3. Create interest in working
  4. Make sure the stability of the code to avoid future risks
