i. steps to create ledger in tally

Gateway of Tally - Accounts info - Ledgers - Create

Gateway of tally is the main menu in tally. from there select "Accounts info" menu or click "A". Then click "ledgers" menu or letter "L". from there 2 option are available to create single ledger or multiple ledger. to create single ledger click "create" buttion or letter "C".

Now ledger creation window will apper. In that enter ledger name and its classification of ledger in the respective fields on 'Name", 'Under". in that window we have option to enable features such as TDS, Inventory, VAT/GST, Name & addres of th party etc. after enter all details, press "cntrol + A" or press enter button and yes in the accept query at last.

Gateway of tally is the main menu in tally. from there select "Accounts info" menu or click "A". Then click "Groups" menu or letter "G". from there 2 option are available to create single group or multiple groups. to create single group click "create" buttion or letter "C".

Now Group creation window will apper. In that enter Group name and its classification of ledger in the respective fields on 'Name", 'Under". in that window we have option to enable features such as whether it needs as sub-ledger, How to report nett balance, enable for calculation etc.. after enter all details, press "cntrol + A" or press enter button and yes in the accept query at last.

Display - Accounts book - Group summary

Gateway of tally is the main menu in tally. from there select "Display" menu or click "D". Then click "Accounts book" menu or letter "A". to view list of groups created, click "Group summary" buttion or letter "G". there will be displayed all groups created and default groups

Gateway of Tally - Analysis & Verification - Data Analysis - Verification of Chart of Accounts .

Select the required Exception Status and press "Enter"

Select the required Ledger

Now a varification window will appear. in that put the status as "Varified" or "Hold" and enter "varificarion note" if any

Then enter Yes in the accept query at last

Gateway of tally is the main menu in tally. from there select "Accounts info" menu or click "A". Then click "Voucher type" menu or letter "V". to create a Voucher type click "create" buttion or letter "C".

Now Group creation window will apper. In that enter Name and its Type of voucher type in the respective fields. in that window we have option to enable features such as method of voucher numbering, whether it is default voucher, effective date, allow narration etc.. after enter all details, press "cntrol + A" or press enter button and yes in the accept query at last.

Now Stock categories  creation window will apper. In that enter Stock category name and its classification of Stock group in the respective fields on 'Name", 'Under". after enter all details, press "cntrol + A" or press enter button and yes in the accept query at last.

Gateway of tally is the main menu in tally. from there select "Inventory info" menu or click "I". Then click "Stock item" menu or letter "I". from there 2 option are available to create single Stock item or multiple Stock item. to create single Stock item click "create" buttion or letter "C".

Now Stock Item creation window will apper. In that enter Stock Item name and its classification of ledger in the respective fields on 'Name", 'Under". in that window we have option to enable features such as catogory, units and opening balances & quantity. after enter all details, press "cntrol + A" or press enter button and yes in the accept query at last.

Gateway of Tally - Display - Statements of Accounts - Outstandings - Ledger

Select the ledger account.

Select F6: Age wise from the button bar in the Ledger Outstandings screen.

Select the Ageing method (by bill date or due date)
