(i)Creation of Ledger

SINGLE LEDGER	MULTIPLE LEDGER
Step 1 :From Gateway of Tally, go to Accounts Info	From Gateway of Tally, go to Accounts Info
Step 2:Go to Ledger	Go to Ledger
Step 3: Under single ledger, Select the option Create.	Under Multiple ledger, Select the option Create
Step 4:Fill the particulars in the Ledger Creation screen displayed	Fill the particulars in the Ledger Creation screen displayed

(ii) Creation of groups/accounts heads

Step 1 Go to Gateway of Tally

Step 2 Acounts Info

Step 3 Groups

Step 4 Create (Single Group)

(iii) Viewing list of accounts groups created

Step 1 Go to Gateway of Tally

Step 3 List of Accounts

(iv) Verify ledger accounts

Step 1 Go to Gateway of Tally>Analysis &Verfication>Data Analysis>Verification of charts of Accounts

Step 2 Select the required Exception status and press Enter

Step 3   Select the required Ledger and press F8:

(v) Creation of a new voucher type

Step 1 Go to Gateway of Tally

Step 2 Accounts Info or Inventory Ingo

Step 3 Voucher Type

Step 4 Create

Step 5 Enter the name of the voucher

(vi) Altering a voucher type

Step 1 Go to Display

Step 2 Day Book

Step 3 Select the Voucher Type that needs to be altered

Step 4 Make the changes and then save the altered voucher

Step 5 Enter the name of the voucher

(vii). Creation of a stock group

Step 1 Go to Gateway of tally

Step 2 Inventory Info

Step 3 Stock Groups

Step 4 Create stock group and then enter the name of the Stock Group

(viii) Creation of stock categories

Step 1 Go to Gateway of tally

Step 2 Inventory Info

Step 3 Stock Categories

Step 4 Create stock category and then enter the name of the Stock category

Step 5 Specify whether it is primary or sub caterory and press enter to save

(ix). Creation of stock items
