The changes and upgradations in technology and communication have always moved in the same fashion and with the advent of internet and mobile devices the communication patters have reached a new level.

One of the most useful change that technology has brought in communication is the use of internet for e-mailing and chatting. In the previous days we had to send a letter to someone if we had to commuicate with someone. That would take days to reach the other person. Also we had to visit post office for it. There was no guarantee that our letterwould reach the other party. If we had send a letter overseas then it would cost us a lot and would take many days to reach. Also there was an uncertainity if it would actually reach its destination or not. A faster alternative to letters was telegram but it was expensive.

Computers, mobile phones and internet enable us to send text documents, pictures , etc. across the world via e-mail , chat messengers etc within seconds. This has reduced the costs and increased the speed of communication drastically.

Technology has also made the storage and retrieval of communication very easy. The e-mails and chats and the media we transfer are stored in your account and we can refer to them as and when required. It now becomes easier to clarify our doubts and misconceptions with the other person we are communicating with.

The use of mobile phones has enabled the people to communicate from anywhere with anybody in the world. We can now access our e-mails in your mobile phones only. Also we can chat with anyone, do video calling, send pictures and documents sitting anywhere in the world just by using our mobile phone and that too at a very low cost.

Technology has brought down the cost of communication drastically and has improved the accessibilty of people around the world.

With the help of video conferencing we don't need to be physically present at a place and still communicate with everyone face to face. Many of the business meetings are conducted like this now.

With the help of these change in technology and the use of internet we can track your old friends, get in touch with them, see what is happening in their lives and share what is happening in ours.
