Communication technology can be defined as the equipment or any program used in processing the communication information from one medium to another. Communication technology has taken various developments over the years. Examples of communication technology are e-emails, telephone, multimedia video, or sound-based communication. Communication technology in the past was its traditional way of communicating that has a significant impact on lives. In the past, the very common or traditional method of communicating was writing letters to other people. Postal, paper, and pen were the mediums that were used to send messages and respond. Postal used to take 7-10 days to arrive a the destination address. In the 1800s, the first telegraph was invented for communication used to transmit electric signals over wires. Later in 1831, Joseph Henry came up and well an electric telegraph and in 1843 Samuel Morse builder first long-distance electric telegraph line. The telegraph proved to be a significant influence in the journey of communication. Expansion in past Communication technology made it possible to introduce telephones, radios, cable, television, or the internet. The cell phone was launched in 1973 by Martin copper. Emails got introduced in 1971, and the internet launched in 1983. The biggest hit of social networks, webinars, or smartphones grabbed the attention in late 1990.
