Problems or shortcomings with Honda Motors Company- Honda Motors company has strong diversified strong product portfolio but it has following problems-
There are some problems in design and quality of Honda motors' vehicles that lowered its brand image in the market.
Honda recalled 14.4 Million vehicles in 2014. This resulted in heavy expenditures in sales, marketing and quality.
It has tough competition worldwide with leading players like Ferrari, Volkswagen, General Motors, Nissan, Hyundai, Renault etc.
Honda is a Japanese company so it faces Japanese Yen exchange rate fluctuation.
Raw material prices are increasing day by day that increasing overall cost for Honda.
