1)Recommendations to be specific and actionable means that what needs to be done must be clearly defined and understood and it should be reasonably implementable. Actions to be taken must be directed with objectivity and should be defined by parameters so that there is no doubt in the minds of planners and implementors.
2)Charts should be used to present data finding or comparisons of data in reports. Charts should be easy to understand and interpret and should avoid being too complex. Labelling must be done to ensure what the data conveys and should be clear. The type of chart to be used must be selected so that the data is conveyed correctly. For eg: bar chart for frequency,Pie charts for distribution etc
To strike a tone of objectivity and positivity in a report, it is essential to provide supporting data and charts with evidence. This will provide justification in the report. Analysis should be provided to support the results and conclusion should be based on facts.
The various approaches of reviewing a report is to get it critiqued by peers or experts, get feedback from others, check for errors such a printing mistakes, analytical errors, check from different points of vies and ensure every point is checked and reviewed.
