customer segment analysis of Adidas

Adidas is majorly focused towards demographic & psychographic segment.
1- Demographic segmentation- Adidas has majorly focused the customers from the age group between 14- 40 years, as i have mentioned that they are majorly focused that's not mean population beyond the 40 cant find good products or Adidas is not have the customer base.
As we all the ADIDAS is a leading sports equipment, footwears, shoe brand that is the reason they focus on young age group to get the maximum popularity...moreover in any country 14 to 40 years age group is the biggest contributor in population so based on that strategy they focused towards the maximum population.
Pshycography segmentation- That is basically based on the trend, choice or pattern of the existing customers, according to that Adidas has divided in different groups, that can be country wise, culture wise etc. majorly they focused towards the upper middle class.
As per the vision they have , Adidas planning to get rid from the use of polyester by 2024, and they are working towards to use recycled plastic for their shoes & clothing.
Limiting supply is another milestone towards ADIDAS strategy- that is a simple example of demand and supply rule..they have different pricing strategy ( as per the demand of the products) which helps them to increase the margins.
