Gastro intestinal upset, skin reactions, headache and bleeding complications
some complementary and alternative therapies have been reported to cause serious problems or even death
a) ROLE OF A NURSE IN ASSISTING THE OLDER PATIENT IN HIS SEXUALITY
Nurses have a significant role to play in the care of of older people. One among is the assistance of sexuality in old age
- They have to deliver safe , effective quality care to the old age people
- They have to counsel the old patients about their physiological/psychological sexual helath/illness status.
- They have to perform complete physical examination on older adults following techniques like observation, inspection, palpitation, auscultation and percussion.
- They should have knowledge to discriminate normal and pathological findings of aging.

Benefits of exercise in older adults
1) PREVENT DISEASE - Regular exercise can hlep prevent many common diseases, such as heart disesa and diabetes.
2) IMPROVED MENTAL HEALTH - Mental healthy benefits of exercise are many. Exercise produces endorphins ("feel good") hormone, which acts as stress reliever. In addition exercise also improves good sleep which is very important in old age.
3) DECREASED RISK OF FALLS - older adults are at a higher risk of falls. Exercise improves strength and flexibility, which also helps improve balance and coordination, reducing the risk of falls.
