1-) Hospital settings involve an overnight or longer stay in a psychiatric hospital or psychiatric unit of a general hospital. The facility can be privately owned or public ( government - operated) . Inpatient hospital provide treatment to more severely ill mental health patient, usually for less than 30 days. A person admitted to qn inpatient settings might be in the Acute phase ofa mental illness and need help around the clock. Typically , a person who reqires long - term care would be transferred to another facility or a different settings within a psychiatric hospital after 30 days of inpatient treatment.
a-) The functional ability to maintain adequate speed when carrying out daily activities contributes to a comfortable and independent lifestyle in old age. The person who requires 2hrs to dress has a considerable functional reduction in performing that activity. Other surveys have shown that speed decline with age, when walking and carrying out daily task . The geriatrics assessment aids in the diagnosis of medical condition, development of treatment and follow upplans , coordination of management of acre, and evaluation of long term care needs and optimal placement.The geriatrics assessment differs from A standards Medical evaluation by including nonmedical domain , by emphasizing functional capacity and quality of life and often by incorporating a multidisciplinary team.
