Psychosocial integrity is a state of balance of psychological and social aspects of an individual which is usually altered when client is having stress, health related issues and crisis which may have an effect in the emotional, mental and social wellbeing of an individual. There are many risk factors than lead to an alteration in the psychosocial integrity in an individual.

The following are the risk factors related to alteration in psychosocial integrity.

Based on the evidence the client may have emotional distress, hence ways to adapt to the changes and measures to enhance emotional well being is followed by providing cognitive therapy.

The behaviour disturbances of the client can be reduced by providing psychological support

The social demands in life are often the major factor that affect the client as to the way the society looks at them due to the alteration in they normal physical and psychological well-being hence measures are taken to improve the social well being of the client by encouraging the family to take a part in the development of the clients health status .helpinf the Client to have a positive attitude .

Monitor the progress of the teaching and evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching to determine if the client finds it helpful.

encourage the client to accept the way they are and also encourage the family members to work along with the client to accept the way they are.

Explain the role and importance of prosthetic devices that will aid in providing assistance to the client .

Teaching regarding personal hygiene , rest and sleep and the medications administration is often followed. .
