Suicide has been growing problem in all over the world. Various organisations are trying their best to mitigate the problem. It has been a devastating issue for those who are already suffering from mental illness for as a person suffering from depression disorder. They tend to end their lives when kept alone. A person suffering from some chronic illness tries to suicide. It is more in number irrespective of the country-whether it is developed or developing. These are the medical and health care related suicide cases. Suicides also occur due to stress , being broken and many such reasons.

Nursing interventions:-When a case or a patient comes having the tendency to suicide, it is the duty of the nurse to interact with the patient and understand his problems. Proper teaching of the family members, how to deal with the problem. Proper information to the physician about the current status of the patient.
