2. Identify both the type of intervention (primary, secondary, or tertiary) that will be most helpful to identify specific strategies within that type.
3. What concerns, if its pass on to family ? What first steps in assessment, diagnosis, and/or intervention might help most at this ?
1.Major risk factors for suicide include are negative thoughts and prior suicide attempts.Another factor is mental disorder like depression and mood disorders. Continuous alcoholism and drug use can lead to mental problems which can lead to suicide. Difficulty in communication and social isolation can lead to suicide. Knowing someone died by suicide inside the family and friends can break their mind and lead to suicide. Lack of human support is also a risk factor.
2. Giving mental and physical support to the victim can save their lives . Early identification of depression and mood disorders can prevent suicidal tendencies. Creating platforms for opening their mind and problems can help the victim ie, counseling. Effective behavioral health care can help people. Identification of social isolation and resilient behavior can prevent the victim from suicide.
3. Support from the families and connectedness can help the victims to an extent. Creating a positive atmosphere inside the family can help the people.Family members can easily identify their changes in behavior like depression,mood disorders and social isolating behavior. Early identification of these behavioral changes by the family members can help them in effective communication with the victim. Effective communication can help the victim to an extent.
