what specific food you could add to your diet to meet your needs for fat soluble vitamins?
Fat soluble vitamins are
vit.A, vit.D, vit.E, vit.K .
These are the vitamins that are absorbed in the presence of fat.
Cooking loss is very less for these vitamins.
Vitamin A rich food are fish liver oil, butter, egg, milk, liver , cream , cheese and fatty fish.
Veggies like carrot , green leafy vegetables.
Vitamin D (main source is sunlight ).
Dietary sources are egg yolk, liver, milk fat, fish oils and fishes.
Vitamin E can be get from vegetable oils,hydrogenated fat , rice brain oil, and cereal germ oil, dark green veggies, whole grains , nuts and legumes.
Vitamin K is usually obtained from cabbage, liver , spinach , drumstick leaves , soyabean, cauliflower , wheat bran , fruits like pappaya, pomegranate etc.
Thus the fat soluble vitamins are mainly obtained from both vegetables and fish and meet . So you should include milk and milk derivatives , egg , fish , liver , vegetables like carrot, dark green veggies , leafy vegetables .
