Public health nutrition is focused on solving nutrition problems and developin interventions in population. So it is very important and helpful to build a PHN for any disease.PHN practice draws from the principles of health promotion. The basic knowledge sources for guiding a person should be in applying health strategies to improve dietary quality. Its fundamental goal is to prevent diseases in population and to promote good health. The basic requirements is to bring awareness in the people with diabetes to explain about the diet to intake and what kind of exercises to be done.Increasing and decreasing risks to be mentioned clearly.Increasing risks are abdominal obesity, physical inactivity, gestation diabetes, saturated fatty acids and mental stress.Decreasing risks are high dietary fibre diet, following proper medication, weight loss activities, exercises, food intake on time.

Intervention planning is a perfect process to undergo PHN.It develops the intervention appropriate to the target group ,reduces the uncertainity while planning for future projects.Public health workers should be appointed for easy PHN process like pharmacist, medical technologist, medical officer,PHN registered nurse, nutritionist etc.
