Kinesiology is the study of the human body movements and its mechanism that provide information about the health status of all body systems. It is appiicable mainly in the Orthopedics, Physical therapy, Sports medicine, etc. The study of kinesiology improves the performance to understand the movements of the human body and its physicological functions.
Main three sources of knowledge of kinesology
The first source of kinesolgy is mainly related to the anatomy and physiology of the whole body. Learing the anatomy and physiology is the first source of knowledge of kinesiology. In kinesology, the anatomical position of the body is the primary part to define the body movements. Examples are anterior, posterior, lateral, medial, etc.
The second source of kinesiolgy is to learn all the muscle groups in the whole body. This is also necessary to indicate the specified parts to be treated in medical and physical therapy.
The third source of knowledge of kinesiology is to learn all the bones in the body. The study of bones is known as osteology. Osteology has an important role in the source of knowledge of kinesology in the body.
The academic sources of knowledge of kinesilogy is generally divided into two. They are academic syllabus based and non academic syllabus based.
The academic syllabus based sources of knowledge acquired through learning of the physical activity from the syllabus during study by learning and attending classes like anatomy, anatomical terminology, physiology, exersice physiology, physical therapy, motor development, sports activitiy, professional practice, etc.
The non academic syllabus based sources of knowledge acquired through general physical activities, reading monthly subscriptions of various fitness books, participating various sports and physicl activities, etc.
