It would be great if Public Health Nurses can share their knowledge with other nations, especially to transform the healthcare delivery system in developing countries. How might we accomplish something like this?
The health care delivery system should be to foster the optimal health outcomes by providing cost-effective, patient-centered, quality care with a service emphasis. Health care delivery systems should be designed to motivate patients and health care providers to make decisions consistent with these goals. The goal can be attained with a pluralistic approach to the financing, organization, and delivery of health care.
Nurses advocate for health promotion, educate patients and the public on the prevention of illness and injury, provide care and assist in cure, participate in rehabilitation, and provide support. Nurses help families learn to become healthy by helping them understand the range of emotional, physical, mental and cultural experiences they encounter during health and illness. Nurses help people and their families cope with illness, deal with it. Nurses do more than care for individuals.
