African-american psychologist Algae Harrison Hale has discussed the important points related to the development of various schools involved in addressing the various issues related to Black psychology including slavery, racial discrimination and involvement in labor system.Earlier in 1960's very few universities got involved in teaching and emphazing black psychology in american universities but later in 1970's many universities came forward and appreciated the discussion of black psychology with recruitment of more black psychologists.Further freedom of Black -american laborers took place with reforms in various plantation industries providing more area and region to Black-american population with more employment opportunities and abolition of racial discrimination.The freedom of this race was based on the system devised by Jim Crow.After the great depression,many new policies were developed for the upliftment of african-american people with formation of Black american teaching association.The supreme court of USA also laid the foundation of developing new rules for blacks in america which gave new opportunities to them in various areas like job opportunities,involvement in politics,inhabitation of new regions in america,increased career prospects in sports, and music with more freedom and without racial discrimination.Various new organizations were developed like black community organization,black child development organization, and Black psychologist association.The american pyschologist association also collaborated with black psychologist association for discussion of various issues of bonded labor, eductional policy systems of black children,equal opportunity status, and providing better and advanced infrastructure in universities for blacks with more teaching opportunities.Various personality development oppotunities were provided by gloria smith with intelligence tests for blacks for providing more job oppotunities.Martin luther king also advocated the rights of blacks in american constitution, upliftment of minority blacks,and setting up of more schools and universities in specific regions of USA like tennesse, boston,manhattan, and alabama with more priorities and opportunities for blacks in USA with mixing and intermingling of religions and customs through marraiges between blacks and whites.The ethical issues of blacks as well maintenance of quality control infrastructure and standards were also discussed in various conferences and workshops in USA.
