Briefly describe the impact of this nursing intervention.
20.1 Urinary tract infection is an infection of any part of urinary system(kidneys, ureters, bladderand urethra).
20.2 pathophysiology depends of two types of reasons modifiable reasons like increase in intake of salt , poor hygiene and sedentary lifestyle and non modifiable reasons like age, sex both of these reasons lead to contamination of urethra of E.coli thus giving rise to colonisation of the urethra area and leading to ascending of bacteria towards the bladder where invasion and multiplication of bacteria takes place giving rise to inflammation and causes of UTI.
20.3 signs and symptoms burning micturition, urgency to urinate, can't urinate much, blood in urine, suprapubic pain, strong urine odour.
20.4 examination urine routine test, culture of urine, ultrasound, use of cystoscope if recurrent UTI.

20.6 we all know urinary system removes all the toxins from our body and also help us to become aware how much water our body needs.Adequate hydration improves the result of antibiotics ,flushing out bacteria and voiding bladder is the best practice .if intake of fluid is less bladder shrinks thus urine becomes concentrated and formation of urine is Less giving rise to invasion and multiplication of bacteria.
