1. The common problems for people with narcolepsy are:
i) The person having narcolepsy sleeps in the daytime a lot in any place without any sign.
ii) The person also experience REM sleep.
iii) The person having narcolepsy exeperience sleep paralysis.
2. The medical problems are associated with obstructive sleep apnea are:
i) High blood pressure.
ii) Heart problems
iii) Thyroid
iv) diabetes
v)stroke
3. The four major groupings of persistent insomnia are:
i) Acute insomnia: This happens which a person has a difficulty in sleeping for brief intervals.
ii) Chronic insomnia: This happends when a person has problem in sleeping for a longer period of time.
iii) Comorbrid insomnia: This person has difficulty in sleeping due to high level of anxiety, depression, etc.
iv) Onset insomnia: It happens when a person has problem sleeping in the beginning.
4. Some things that people with insomnia can do, to help improve their sleep are:
i) Having the same sleep routine.
ii) Reducing the intake of caffeine.
iii)Having a proper exercise to improve the quality of the sleep.
iv) One should also reduce stress as it leads to unwanted thinking.
v) Consulting the therapist as they will help in giving proper therapy like cognitive therapy.
