Does social media play a critical role for violent extremists ?
Violent extremism refers to the convictions and activities of
individuals who backing or use ideologically motivated violence to
accomplish radical ideological, religious or political
perspectives. These gatherings incorporate both
ideologically-persuaded global terrorist organizations(ITO) and
homegrown violent extremists(HVE).
Some evidence recommends that the social media and internet may
play a role in the violent radicalization process, for the most
part through the spread of data and propaganda, just as the
support, recognizable proof and commitment of a (self)- chose group
of spectators that is keen on radical and violent messages. The
amalgamation of evidence appears, getting it done, that internet
based life is a situation that encourages violent radicalization,
as opposed to driving it.
