To achieve greater adoption of evidence based medicine in the delivery of healthcare let's first understand the concept of evidence based practice is defined as conscientious , explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in decision making about the care of a patient mainly depends upon integration of best available evidence generated by quality research, clinical evidence and expertise, patient value and preferences , relevant contextual knowledge includes resources and acknowledgement of potential resources barriers and enablers within the context care. in short h ealthcare provider usually implements methods that are combination of scientifical research, clinical expertise and patient preferences which result in the improvement of qualitative measures like higher quality and more affordable care , stemming from lower rates of hospital infection readmission and general improved outcome. Now the question arises how to achieve it ? We can achieve this by improving the level of education of nurses midwives and even doctors mainly increasing their concepts about innovation and strategies , investing funds in continuing education programmes, introduction of hospitals with better quality and workplace environment, donation of a portion of budget to developing and sustaining culture environment that supports the delivery of evidence bast medicine , practices and care.
