1. Ineffective coping related to situational or maturational crises

2. Hopelessness related to long term stress.

3. Fatigue related to stress and anxiety.

Nursing interventions include

1. Arrange and assist for patient's physical needs-Like assist in self care, personal hygiene and encourage him to eat

2. Initiate good communication: by sharing observation of patient behaviour, speaking slowly and encourage him to talk and write his feelings.

3. Plan appropriate activities for the patient according to his mood level.

Teaching on depression include

1. Educate the patient about the method of reducing depression,like expressing feelings, engaging pleasurable activities

2. Ask about whether the patient is thinking about suicide, of any arrange an immediate need for consultation amd assessment

3. Educate the patient about the medicine, actions side effects.

4. On discharge educate the patient regarding long term needs and action to be taken
