Crohn's disease-
1. Pathophysiology- idiopathic and mutation in NOD2, ATG16L1 ---- leading to inflammation and ulcers of bowel wall with infiltration of neutrophils ---- patchy granulomatous distribution ---- cobblestone appearance ---- ongoing symptoms .

4. Assessment - look for complaints like fever , diarrhoea , weight loss , abdominal pain , abdominal masses etc .
Investigations like blood test , ultrasound abdomen , colonoscopy and biopsy, MRI and CT helps in DIAGNOSIS.
5. Nursing considerations- Treat anemia, fluid loss due to diarrhoea, pain , maintaining nutritional status of the patients and advising them healthy lifestyle measures.
