Why is organizational change so challenging?

Any organization have the need to adapt to various situations in the market and this is one of the main features to have because, if the organization could not change according to the market, its sustainability gets a hit. It is very difficult for many organizations to change because a lot of processes has to change and this requires, almost everyone in the organization to change. Everyone in the organization must be trained to get accustomed to the new situation and they must be taught on how to proceed in this new situation. An entirely new strategy must be employed and it is not an easy task because it requires developing a strategy, analyzing it, testing it and then implementing it and that too effectively. This requires a lot of time. Values might also have to be changed and this is toughest one because once we get accustomed to a set of values, it is tough to change those. This is why every organization shows huge resistance to change frequently.

How can new leaders make change easier for organizations?

Leader remains the backbone of any organization, they must abide by cultural values, The values and ethics contribute to the unique social and psychological culture of an organization. Leadership group always find the way to fix any typical hostile situation by acquainting a representative engagement stage which help them explain new values and perceive new practice in right manner. Organizations with good employee engagement, have identified how to create a culture that strengthen the bonding of employees. Leadership’s role in communicating, developing and rewarding employees is the biggest initiative and considered as proper pathway in making progressive move in building organization culture.

To anchor this change, the leader must lay out a plan on how to achieve and he must be sure that everyone understands it. He must take the feedback from everyone whether they are getting along. He must accept suggestions from all his employees in order to have the change positively. Every employee must be given a chance to get involved into the process. Every employee must be helped to get acquired with the required knowledge so that he can cope with the change.
